Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model

This weekend was very busy for me! On saturday I had the great opportunity to attend Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model show at the Excel Centre. As I am a big fan of the show I was more than happy to go and got to see live cat walk shows and the models in the flesh as well as browsing the stalls and picking up some freebies!

The show it based around the modelling show hosted by Elle Macpheson, a spin off from the American version. This years winner was the lovely Jade who I wanted to win from the start. Jade has a very unique look with lovely features that can make her look anything from girly firl next door to high end fashion. Not only has she gone on to win the show, but is now the face of one of my favourite high street stores Miss Selfridge recent campaign.

I have some of the pictures from the campaign with her looking fantastic in their new collection and also some pics from the show. I hope you enjoy!!!

What I Am Wearing: Weekly Round Up

So Friday is my new day for doing the 'What I am wearing - weekly round up' (it's a bit of a mouth full). I will be showing you my outfits that I have worn over the past week.

So what can I tell you? I have dressed very casually this week and haven't been dolling myself up unfortunately. My week has been pretty much work and home oriented. So have a look at my week of casual outfits and let me know what you think!

My Fav Pieces: Oasis Leather Studded Jacket and Leather Zip Ethnic Print Cross Body Bag (Made by my friend -  You can buy her bags from Spitalsfield Market on a Sunday)

Dorothy Perkins Military Style Boots

Primark Trouser/Leggings in Brown....Best things invested. The comfort of leggings in the style of trousers and Primark Brown and Cream Brogues.

Primark Brown Heeled Boots (I really wished I had bought the black versions at the time, they are the most comfortable heeled boots in the world ), Tan H&M Suede Cropped Biker Jacket and Miss Selfridge Over sized Knitted Jumper.

Mango A/W 2011

I can't really call this one a preview because A/W is now here and a lot of this collection has already hit the stores. Mango's A/W collection is looking very nice, filled with structured style and lots of glitz which is a very big trend this season. Mango always feels very  sophisticated to me with its competitors being Zara rather than the more 'street' hight street stores such as H&M. If I was looking for a work outfit or a dress for a work night out/ cocktail party here is the place I would go.

So I have found a few images from their collection to show you, I hope you enjoy!

Snap Shot Style: Frieda Pinto

Freida Pinto at the 2011 Doha Tribeca Film Festival looking beautiful in this hot pink floor legnth gown....

Kelly Brook for New Look

New Look will be launching their new glam dress collection just in time for the Christmas party season. They can be found in store and online from November so think lots of Christmas-y colours and lots of glitz and glam to help you look fab on a night out.

The high street store has used Kelly Brook for a few other collaboration such as her swimwear so she was the perfect choice to model these dresses. She looks great in all of the outfits and was a great model to choose.

Here are a few of the dresses that caught my eye!

Funky Scarves

As it is not quite knitted hat, scarves and gloves seasons just yet, I have decided to focus on 'in-between' accessories and funky scarves have caught my eye.

I am a big lover of the scarf and I think they are the perfect accessory for any weather, you just have to find the right thickness. The ones that have caught my eye are patterned and bright but not too thick. So they keep you looking nice and bright for the duller days but if the weather is a bit nippy can still keep you a little bit warm too!

Accessorize Animal Print Satin Square Scarf, Accessorize Floral Print Snood.

Accessorize Leopard Floral Chain Silk Square Scarf, H&M Scarf.
Miss Selfridge Equestrian Horse Scarf, Miss Selfridge Tiger Print Scarf.

River Island Pink Pretty Bird Print Scarf, River Island Purple Lion Print Silk Scarf.

All Saints Sheepskin Range

All Saints is a well known (higher end) high street brand and are known for their street style. The brand has an urban street feel to it with lots of leathers, boots and graphic t-shirts. You can also find yourself a unique dress to wear on a night out, so there is a little bit of everything for everyone! The price range is a little higher than other brands out there but the quality is high too.

Today I am focusing on their sheepskin collection. Warm and cosy for the winter months, if you are looking to invest in a unique item what you can wear for many years. Here is the place to look!!

Here are my favourite pieces:

Esco Jacket, Pelt Gilet.

 Pasco Jacket, Caradon Jacket.

 Shearling Gaucho Boots.

I Want....

I want, I want, I want,I want, I want, I want, I want,I want!!!!

Miss Selfridge Limited Edition Leather Leopard Print Satchel

What I am Wearing: Round Up

So I have decided to do a weekly round up of my outfits (or the best outfits) for the week to show you guys what I have been wearing. Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of year when it comes to fashion, because there are endless possibilities and you don't have to think about the weather drastically changing and altering your style choice.

As you all know I am a 'casual chic' kind of girl...comfy and stylish (I hope I am stylish) is my thing and I do not believe in over dressing but still believe in dressing nice where ever you go. So have a look and tell me what you think?

I'll point out some of my favourite pieces...

Top: Miss Selfridge did have 3/4 length sleeves once upon a time but I decided it looked better with short sleeves and had it altered.

Jacket: Zara Feather Down Jacket (bought in last year's sale) I love it but it leaves a trail of feathers everywhere I go.... lol.

Finally.... Jacket: Topshop Lace Mac (bought a couple of years ago) One of my favourite 'in-between' jackets. It is full skirted and makes me feel very girly when I wear it! Also worth a mention, Boots: Zara Black Two Tone Riding Boots (brown tops). My favourite boots ever!!!!
